i think i got it...EXE and LNK files suddenly not supported!

ok, ppl, i think i KINDA got it. because u see, i had this mp3 file on my desktop, and its COMPLETELY working. i just cudnt access itunes from the actual itunes link! but when i clicked on the mp3, itunes and all my songs all functioning happily popped up... my documents and crap are working too. for example, i clicked on a picture and happy little photoshop opened up!! and IT was functioning properly too!! thus, i happen to think that its just the .lnk and .exe files are not recognized suddenly.... but i still have a problem... HOW THE HELL DO I FIX IT!!?? i am an extremely immature 20 year old without a freaking FRACTION of knowledge about this crap. i am in an extremely bad mood and u guys would MAKE MY DAY if u just helped me!!! so pleaseeeee help me!!!!!

usually reinstallin your operating system will fix this problem, without removing any i9nformation from your computer, if this doesnt work i dont know what the hells going on sorry

sounds like your files are being infected slowly by a virus. chances are if in a few days your computer stops turning on properly you had one. i would get norton like TODAY if you want any chance of saving it.
