Undetected Operating System

Post by hyppsyc »

Ok, I am randomly reciving a "No Operating System Is Detected On Any Devices" notice when I boot-up my computer. Could this be due to a faulty hard drive or anything like that? I have two hard drives and when I hooked them both up, I have gotten this problem. Today I unhooked the original drive that came with the computer and just connected the one that I bought a few years back. I have not had this problem in the 3 or 4 start-ups that I have done. Could the other drive be corrupt?

This could be a sign that the drive is failing, if you have had the drive for awhile I would make sure you have the important files backed up. Keep the newer drive as a boot drive and the other as a slave. See if that helps
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
