Big Internet Problem

Post by ian »

I dont think its my network but i couldnt find a place to put this. I can browse the internet with IE (yuck). I can't use my beloved Firefox, or AIM, MSN, or any online games. BUT My linux computer right next to me on the same network is fine. Help please. I have done spyware, adware and virus checks and registry cleaners.

no one has really been able to help me either. we've had a computer programmer and technician both look ta it and they are baffled - if you look at my post 'confused' it explains my problem in more detail - see if its the same sport of problem as yours.

Your problem is you have something running that shouldn't be. Try gettin msn antispyware/ hijack this and programs like that. Also do you have a firewall which might not be allowing your browser out.

Sounds like windows is out to get you.... If all else fails, back up all your files then nuke it.
