Big Internet Problem

I dont think its my network but i couldnt find a place to put this.
I can browse the internet with IE (yuck). I can't use my beloved Firefox, or AIM, MSN, or any online games. BUT My linux computer right next to me on the same network is fine.
Help please. I have done spyware, adware and virus checks and registry cleaners.

Glad to know im not the ONLY person with this problem. Could be on the verge of a majopr internet crash? uh...maybe.
nobody could help me on other forums.

no one has really been able to help me either. we've had a computer programmer and technician both look ta it and they are baffled - if you look at my post 'confused' it explains my problem in more detail - see if its the same sport of problem as yours.

Boot in safe mode with networking, it worked for me

Your problem is you have something running that shouldn't be. Try gettin msn antispyware/ hijack this and programs like that. Also do you have a firewall which might not be allowing your browser out.

Sounds like windows is out to get you.... If all else fails, back up all your files then nuke it.
