squares for Fonts

I am totally frustrated. Something somewhere on my system is whack. There are times when certain windows, like all the windows for my netzero sign in are unreadable due to the fonts being replaces with little squares. What the??? I have been searching the web for days trying to find a solution and am coming up blank. It is driving me nuts! What is wrong? I have seen this before but never to this extent. Jai

someone was messing around with your computer and deleted a font set it sounds like. or you might have a virus, never know these days.
