[/b]Everytime i try to play Sims 2, it gets to a the part right before you choose what city to live in and it says “The application has crashed. The application will now terminate.” :cry: what can i do to fix this? HELP :!:

Ok man. Firstly, try to re-install the sims 2. If it does not work, try downloading the sims 2 Patch from EA's website. Just type Sims 2 Patch in google or go to http://www.ea.com and them go the the Sims 2. If that does not work, post a reply and I'll try to guide you further. Yours faithfully, talb

Hi, i have a similar problem but TS2 crashes when i go to load a family or lot, i downloaded and installed the patch but it didn't do anything! iv also downloaded a new video thing from the intel site which worked for about 3 times, re-booted, re-installed and done almost everything!! I don't really want to buy anything new if its going to be expensive and i just want to play my game!!

yea, i have sims 2 but my only problem sometimes is i think that it overheats and my computer just restarts, so i have to make sure to save all my work often!
