Desktop security settings

Post by nirak »

First, lemme say that I'm pretty computer illiterate so I'll need very elementary school'ish answers. On my work computer, it seems the security settings have locked out my access to change my background. Any quick and simple ways that I can get in just to add one of the pre-installed backgrounds? I hate looking at the drab greenish/blue background that's defaulted on there. Thanks.

If you're running XP and you don't have administrator priviliages, then no. You can ask the IT guy if will let you chane it or give you permissions to do so.
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
