Ok, I,ve got Vivaldi's 4 seasons playing inside my computer, only that it sounds more like its played backwards at different speeds
What this means is that when I boot my pc it has become a bit louder than before, seems like the processor fan is giving up on me because I changed the power supply a couple of weeks ago, so I doubt its the PS fan, but what I really need to know is if its possible that when the processor is under more processing strain can the fan make different pitches of sound? Like more processing the fan seems to run slower...
This morning before going to work I turned it on and the fan made a much deeper sound, so I decided to turn it back off if I was going to leave it unattended.
Thanks!

heatsinks defautly run as needed, meaning that the motherboard will change the voltages to attain the correct tempature for the cpu.. check your bios and view how hot your cpu is running and post back
Thanks for your reply!
Well, you see, my BIOS doesn't have that type of feature this is an old PC let me give some specs so you can have an idea how old and bad it is ...
Motherboard: Intel 810
Processor:: Pentium III 650 MHz (coppermine)
RAM: 256 MB
BIOS: Im not sure what version but its PHOENIX
Also running dual boot with XP PRO and Suse Pro 9.3
The thing is is that when I load a program or open a window or even fire up IE6 or Firefox or explore through my PC I can hear the fan humming at lower frequencies, I know it's not the hard drive because if I just process something (without HD activity) I can hear the changes in the fan (when the processor is under more strain).
All I need to know is if this is normal maybe for an old fan and I should change it?
Thanks again!
