If, when you try to update Windows XP, you get the following error message: Validation Failure: Invalid Product Key Do the following to update windows: 1. Open Internet Explorer 2. Click "Tools" 3. Click "Manage Add-ons..." 4. Show "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer" 5. Select "Windows Genuine Advantage" 6. Disable 7. OK

Very intresting, the last time I had to do this work around I used Trixie, an add on for IE. I'll keep this in mind next time, maybe we could start a new fourm index and call it a "Windows Tips and Tricks" :)
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
