Cannot open links

When i go to click on a link from any source besides in my browser (such as msn messanger etc) it will go to my browser but will not open the link. I use avant browser (ie with a twist) by the way. any suggestions?

have you tried changing your windows default browser to Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox (if you have it) and seen if that works?

Do you have any firewalls up that might be blocking access to the internet?
