Sound Software problem?

Post by The Aixtase »

Hi, I recently installed TeamSpeak to be able to talk with friends during online gaming. Even when my microphone isn't plugged in my friend who are on the same TeamSpeak server as I can hear every noise that comes out of my computer wether it's music or the windows error beeps. This means I have to have the sound off or else he/they hears him/themselves speak twice (when their voice gets to my computer it's as if it bounces off it and goes back to them!) Does this sort of problem mean anything to you? Is it a sound driver problem? I have an integrated audio chipset on my motherboard and the software is Realtek HD Audio Manager. Any help would be appreciated! Edd

Make sure you have the micorophone MUTED. yes, I know it sounds stupid, but if the mic is not muted it will reverb back through itself. I use TS daily for gaming and to talk to friends. I have argued with all of them over this issue. Try it and see if that makes any difference for ya :D

When you say muted do you mean it's only activated when there's noise around it? (when the little green dot lights up on TS). If that's not it, how can I make sure my mic is/isn't muted? Cheers, Edd
