64 eXtreme 2

Post by Aggressor Prime »

I have decided to split this new PC up into 2 series:
500 and 1000
The only difference will be the coolers for the dual Opteron 248s.
500 Cooler
1000 Cooler
This series will allow gamers to experience the power of dual CPUs.
This increases efficiency through parallelism, but it does it better than Hyper Threading because the FSB has no traffic since the North Bridge is onboard the Opteron.
Also, since the Opteron has an onboard DDR Controler, it allows the ability for Quad Channeled DDR (Imagine 1600MHz DDR, PC12800).
