A Very Good Compression Program

Post by ccb056 »

I just found 7-Zip, it seems to be a very good file compression program. I like the ability to compress files using gzip, which, IMO is the best compression algorithm.

I use WinRAR, is it better? If so, please tell me why! Thanx!

Why don't you like WinRar. I still haven't found mistakes in it. It makes archieves smaller than WinZip.
This is classical example of the affect of design.
Winzip is much more beatiful than WinRar.
PS. Winrar doesn't bother you with registration notice at the begging of the program - although it is possible to crack it but still...
