Intel Gets Sued Again ($500 million)

Well All Computers is the company who sued Intel this time. $500 million dollars is how much Intel must pay up. Now I know why those Pentiums are so expensive. Intel spends half its money in lawsuits.

It doesn't matter, what matters is that Intel is getting sued and we have to suffer. Why do people always have to pick on the big guys?

All Computers filed a law suite. It doesn't mean that Intel will actually have to pay them $500 because they didn't win yet.

But considering Microsoft loses 99.9% of their lawsuits against and from them, Intel (being known as Microsoft's pet) has a 99.9% chance of losing $500 million. And besides, $500 million is nothing for Intel. All they have to do is raise the Pentium price a few dollars and they lose nothing.

All Computers won't win because there are no damages. They wouldn't have been able to release a product anyway. It's like you come up with a software design, dont' tell anyone, Microsoft copies it, and you try to sue them.

Cuz IF intel loses.. the prices of thier products are going to go up, or remain the same. While, on the other hand AMD will continue to fall in price.. and sell more shizz..

If Intel would stay the same price, AMD would too because they would have no competition. It's bad news every way you look at it.

Its true. Intel is good for AMD and vice versa. Back before AMD become a major competitor, Intel could charge nearly whatever they wanted, and they became extremely expensive. now, because of the competition, we(consumers) win!
