How to test your anti virus program.

First, create a new txt document.
Second, copy this into it
X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
Third, save the document
Your antivirus should come up. If it does not, do a full system scan.

And if it dosent work at all, look for updates or get a new virus scanner
