TMPGEnc3XP Trouble

I'm trying to convert a movie i have to DIVX or MPEG4 and its not working. It would start converting then about 40% through it just freezes up for no reason. You can still move aroudn the program just it just stops converting for no reason at all.

when did you first install it, I know there is a time limitation on the encoding, and after 30 days it wont work, also, are you using hyperthreading, and have you ever been able to get it to work?

Time limitation is no problem according to the littel kcarc i used. But i've converted other formats and i've never been able to get MPEG4 to finish converting it always froze, yes i have HT on

try turning HT off

HT doesn't make a difference, unless maybe Windows has some error which wouldn't surprise me.
