Since when does Microsoft care more about the general public, than it does about making money? I think this is a good jesture on MS's behalf, just seems strange coming from the company who pays millions of $'s to keep people from being able to crack/hack their products."It was a tough choice, but we finally decided that even if someone has pirated copy of Windows, it is more important to keep him safe than it is to be concerned about the revenue issue," he added.

It seems strange since they are developing an entirely new set of technologies (Palladium) for the sole purpose of preventing piracy of software, music, movies, etc.Sumpin_Wong wrote:I think this is a good jesture on MS's behalf, just seems strange coming from the company who pays millions of $'s to keep people from being able to crack/hack their products.
