Yes, that Is right.. Microsoft says that anyone with Windows XP should be able to recieve this SP. Even people with invalid cdkeys, microsoft believes that even though what these people are doing is wrong, this should still be safe under any Windows platform.
"It was a tough choice, but we finally decided that even if someone has pirated copy of Windows, it is more important to keep him safe than it is to be concerned about the revenue issue," he added.
Since when does Microsoft care more about the general public, than it does about making money? I think this is a good jesture on MS's behalf, just seems strange coming from the company who pays millions of $'s to keep people from being able to crack/hack their products.

It seems strange since they are developing an entirely new set of technologies (Palladium) for the sole purpose of preventing piracy of software, music, movies, etc.
Thats MS's way of not even trying to keep SP2 away from crackers, if they can get this far in cracking MS then why not give them the rest. They just had to have some BS answer to make them look good. And their new technologies arent they going to debut on LH?
i heard it automatically sets your router to play multiplayer games over the internet (i like that feature although i think people should learn how to manually set the router anyway)
