Generic Parts In a Dell comp

I'm new first off so, Hi. Second, does anyone know if there is a way to incorporate generic computer components into a Dell computer? most dell computers are made with their own components and you can't use other parts in them... thanks

You don't have to use specific parts. Any regular parts woudl work (eg. ram) but make sure that they are compatable with your Dell motherboard.
